Mid America Nutrition Program does not deny anyone age 60 or older a meal if they are unable or unwilling to donate for their meal.
This means that in order to fulfill our mission to provide balanced meals and nutritional support for seniors we must depend on donations from people other then our clients. During the current economic downturn, it is extremely difficult for many seniors to donate toward the cost of their meal. Fundraising is becoming increasingly important to the success of our mission.
The graph below shows a breakdown of where MANP's funds come from. Truly Mid America Nutrition Program is a cooperative arrangement. By working together, many benefit from the services provided.
